Equine Dentist Training

Under the current educational set up there are few ways to become an equine dentist. Some involve doing a degree course, theory based only, then having to almost serve an apprenticship in order to gain your practical experience; traveling to America or Australasia to train; or training to be a vet with further training to specialise in teeth, all of the above are either expensive or time consuming. So for anyone who would like to retrain for a new career it is a little off putting.

This training course is designed to over come these problems.

The aim of the course is to give the candidate an overview of the theory of dentistry coupled with intensive one on one practical training supervised by working equine dentists.

After the initial course further short courses are attended with on going training in mind, and to ensure standards are mainitained.

 

During this process there is ongoing support and back up should any problems occur that the student needs help with. Also spot checks are made on work carried out to also check that standards are being meet.

As an equine dentist you would be self employed due to this fact we also include modules dealing with building and managing your buisness.
